It is an amazing hotel in Astoria that sits on a pier in the Columbia River. A full redesign of the guestrooms and public spaces brought the hotel up to date while leaning heavily on the Scandinavian fishing influences that helped create Astoria. It was a beautiful blend of industrial and soft wood tones with focuses on local artisans. The result was more than I could have dreamed of!
